FAQ

Questions I hear a lot

How much do I need for a down payment?

It depends on your loan. Some programs allow as little as 0–3.5% down, and conventional loans can start around 3%. Local and state down payment assistance may also be available. A lender can tell you exactly what you qualify for, and I'm happy to connect you with one.

How long does it take to buy a home in Tucson?

Many buyers find a home within a few weeks to a couple of months. Once an offer is accepted, closing usually takes about 30 to 45 days, depending on your loan.

What is the inspection period in Arizona?

The standard Arizona purchase contract gives buyers an inspection period (10 days unless you agree otherwise) to inspect the home and request repairs through a form called the BINSR. I'll walk you through every part of it.

Does it cost anything to work with you as a buyer?

We'll go over exactly how buyer representation and compensation work before we start, in writing, so there are no surprises.
